Young Artist Grant

"Creativity is more important than intelligence,"

- Albert Einstein.

The Geauga Arts Council believes there is significant value in receiving education in the Arts. Although it is commonly stated that the career path of an artist is seen as unsustainable, or not economically wise, we have found that combining education, innovation, and creativity can lead to a fulfilling and financially stable future.

Our scholarship fund allows us to support the goals of our Youth Artist Members. Whether that be higher education pursuits, or entrepreneurship ambitions, we want to help! Each awarded scholarship is a $500 grant awarded to selected applicants. Any active GAC Youth Member can apply. Award will be announced in May 2024 at our Youth Art Show.

We implore you to make a contribution today to aid in reaching our goal of $2,000 by the end of 2023 so that we may select four deserving recipients next year.
