Aimee Pierson in front of an owl photograph she took

Aimee Pierson has served as Secretary on the Geauga Arts Council Board of Trustees since July 2022.

Her Story

Aimee Pierson is a longtime resident of Geauga county, residing in Chesterland with her amazing husband, sweetly sassy daughter and slightly neurotic corgi. She spent her childhood in Munson, wandering through the developed woods in search of critters and adventure. She oftentimes found both, which was the start of a lifelong love and fascination of nature and all living things.

For over 20 years, She applied her curiosity and artistic inclination to the corporate marketing world, most enjoying the role of a Photography Producer with Progressive insurance. It was there that she learned the fundamentals of photography, composition and the art of capturing life. She later purchased her own camera, once again setting out to explore in search of adventure and love of nature.

The photos she takes are the culmination of hours of exploring, watching, learning, and most importantly marveling at the beautiful intricate details of life that surround us every day.

When she isn’t mucking about in woods and fields, she enjoys spending time with her family. She kayaks, is a voracious reader and a huge fan of terrible Dad jokes. She is a member of the Geauga Arts Networking Group as well as a proud board member of the Geauga Arts Council. She volunteered with the Western Reserve Land Conservancy and is excited to work with West Creek Conservancy. She is especially thankful for the love and support of her wonderful family and friends.
